Kibale Forest National Park is home to the densest concentration of primates in Africa.
There are red-tailed monkeys, olive baboons, blue monkeys, black and white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and a host of other primates here. The most famous resident of this park is the chimp, our closest relative. The park protects and nurtures members of this threatened species, and you can peek into their busy lives on a guided chimpanzee trek.
