One of the most visited national parks in Tanzania is the Serengeti National Park. Established by the colonialists over 100 years ago, the park is home to an assortment of wildlife including the mighty lion and the famous wildebeest.
In 1979 UNESCO endorsed Serengeti as a World heritage area, that pretty much means that this park definitely has the ‘wow’ factor. The Serengeti comprises of woodlands, lakes and grassy plains that stretch into the Maasai Mara National reserve of Kenya.
