Scientifically known as the Pongo pgymaeus, these apes share up to 96.4% of the human genetic makeup. Meet this remarkable creature in its natural habitat at Sepilok as they learn to survive once more in the teeming jungles of Borneo in Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary. A raised wooden walkway takes you to the observation deck where Orang Utans slowly emerge from the rainforest to be fed by the rangers. Witness the feeding of Urang Utans at 10am then go to the Outdoor Nursery, home to the juvenile Orang Utans, aged between five to eight years old and learn about how to manage juvenile Orang Utans.
Proceed on an approximate 2 hours drive to Gomantong Caves. The caves are located in the heartland of the Gomantong Forest Reserve, a home of millions of bats and swiftlets. Explore the biggest bird's nest cave in Sabah and the best-managed edible birds' nest.
After your tour, continue your journey to Bilit Rainforest Lodge located beside the Lower Kinabatangan River in the village of Bilit - a base for easy exploration of the incredible diversity of plants, mammals and birds at the Kinabatangan region. Arrive at the village of Bilit jetty and take a short boat transfer to Bilit Rainforest Lodge for your welcome drink, briefing and check-in before your buffet lunch at lodge restaurant.
At 7.30pm, enjoy your buffet dinner evening at your leisure.

It is a set of amidst lush tropical forest and offers comfort and peaceful relaxation as well as a base for easy exploration of the incredible diversity of plant, mammal and birds at the Kinabatangan region. All chalets and the restaurant are made from local hardwood material and are designed to blend into the nature giving a unique local native ambience. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with a minimum of 600 sq.ft. for standard chalets and 800 sq. ft. for VIP permier chalets. A boardwalk connects the jetty, restaurant and all the chalets.
at 6.30am, meet your guide at the lobby and proceed with an early Cruise to Sukau Ox-Bow Lake for bird watching. After your morning exploration, return to the lodge and enjoy your late breakfast. After breakfast, proceed on a walking tour to Bilit Village, home to the local Orang Sungei community. Experience the living style of the local community The Orang Sungei, which translates to 'River People' and are one of Sabah's many indigenous communities and are very hospitable with a diverse cultural heritage. You will then have a buffet lunch at the lodge restaurant and the afternoon will be at your own leisure.
At 3.30pm, enjoy afternoon tea with some local bites before embarking on a cruise to discover the Kinabatangan River, Sabah's longest river at 560km and one of the world's richest ecosystems in search of endemic proboscis monkeys, different species of birds and other wildlife along the river bank. One may also catch a glimpse of wild Oranguans, leaf monkeys, gibbons, macaques or the newly discovered "Borneon Pygmy Elephants".
At 7.30pm, buffet dinner at lodge restaurant followed by a night cruise in search of nocturnal animals.

Get the chance to see the world's smallest bear. After your tour at an English Tea House, transfer to Sandakan Airport for your onward flight to Kota Kinabalu.

Pandan Pandan is a private island encircled by reefs which are largely intact and home to a variety of corals and marine life. You may stumble upon grouper, squids, baby barracudas and snappers as you snorkel and if lady luck is on your side, you may also be greeted by playful dolphins or mother turtles.
Enjoy underwater sea walking and a fun banana boat ride or let them know if you have a PADI certificate and you can go diving. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Coral Transplanting for those who wish to assist in the regeneration of the sea.
Dress code: Swimwear, a change of clothes will be required (showers are available) and comfortable shoes. Snorkeling gear and wet shoes etc. will be provided.
