Serengeti Explorer Camp

Serengeti Explorer Camp is a seasonal tented camp located in Serengeti National Park. The camp relocates during the year to ensure that it is always close to the best game viewing experiences. We offer in camp vehicles for guests flying into Serengeti National Park to provide transfers and game viewing in the park. We have 8 deluxe and 2 family tents, all en suite. We do not accept children younger than 7 for safety reasons.

The safari stays at Serengeti Explorer Camp which is a semi permanent camp and stays opend for 9 months of the year. Children staying at the camp are automatically enrolled in childrens programme called Rafiki Explorer Club on complimentary basis. Rafiki Explorer Club membership works to keep kids involved and entertained during their time in Africa and remain connected with Africa long after they return home. Each child receives:A custom designed bagA personalised activity book packed with fun puzzles, games and wildlife lists*Coloured pencilsBaseball cap with Rafiki embroidered on the frontA set of postcardsContinued membership with online puzzles and activities Rafiki Explorer Club is a special added value for families travelling with children ages 6 to 15. *During April, May, November and early December Serengeti Explorer Camp is closed.  In these periods, we use Ole Serai Luxury Camp in Serengeti National Park.  At Serengeti Explorer Camp, accommodation is on full board basis with soft drinks, drinking water, juice, local beer and house wine At all other locations accommodation is on full board basis (excludes drinks and laundry).

Serengeti Explorer Camp is sold on a partial all inclusive meal plan basis where all meals, soft drinks, domestic beer and house wine are included in the price.
