BULLABURRA

BULLABURRA

Bullaburra is a small town situated between Lawson and Wentworth Falls around 10 minutes from Katoomba. Bullaburra is primarily residential town. The name Bullaburra is an Aboriginal word for ‘Blue Sky’.

Visitors often stop at the small resting area located along the Great Western Highway next to Bullaburra Station.

On the south side of the highway, turn into Genevieve Road to visit Red Gum Park. This peaceful park is only accessible by foot about 500m into the bush - an ideal location for a secluded picnic.

While the track is slightly overgrown, you can also experience Minnatonka Falls which can be accessed via De Quency Road.

On the north side of the railway line Bullaburra offers walks to Claires Glen and Walkers Glen in Lanasa Park.
