Ferrymead Heritage Park
Ferrymead Park features an early 1900s (Edwardian) township, with exhibits such as houses, picture theatre, school classroom, church, jail, railway station, lodge hall, post office, printers, tobacconist, general store, lawyer’s office and more.
There is also a large array of heritage museums and displays that are often open for viewing, particularly on Sundays. These museums are owned and operated by individually operated societies with their own volunteer workers, restoring and displaying their collections, such as tractors, fire engines, aeroplanes, trams, trains, theatrical operations, mini rail, model trains, radios, photography and much more.
