The Hanmer Springs Ski Area is a great club field located just outside Hanmer Springs Village in the South Island of New Zealand – ideal for skiing, snowboarding and relaxing in the alpine village of Hanmer Springs.
New Zealand features a mix of club and commercial fields. Commercial fields typically will have more facilities from snowmaking to cafes and rental shops.
Club fields tend to have fewer facilities but usually have less expensive lift pass prices and are often less crowded than commercial fields.
Hanmer Springs Ski Area is a club field. Located just 17 km from the Hanmer Springs Village, it features a mix of terrain for different levels. The terrain variety is comprised of 10% beginner, 60% intermediate and 30% advanced.
